Otto Andreas Rustand heads up the Digitalisation, Innovation and IT Security department at Glitre Nett, Norway's second largest Distribution System Operator (DSO). He was appointed to the role after the merger between Glitre Nett and Agder Energi Nett, earlier in 2023. Otto has worked in the power grid industry for the past 15 years and previously worked in several companies in the Norwegian energy industry, with management responsibility.

Glitre Nett is responsible for the power grid of 320.000 customers, with more than 30.000 km of grid, from regional to local distribution grids, as well as 133 transformers and primary substations and more than 12.000 secondary substations.

Otto holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunications from Oslo College of Engineering and a Masters of Engineering, Computer and Telecommunications from the University of Wollongong
