With his extensive track record in advancing digital transformation into heavy asset and carbon-intensive industries, Shane McArdle is a respected advisor and leader in industries worldwide. His expansive expertise spans strategy, technical application, consulting, business development, marketing, sales, and operational support – all in order helping industries adopt an Industry 5.0 approach and reach NetZero goals.  

Starting his journey in 2011 with Kongsberg Oil & Gas – a precursor to Kongsberg Digital – Shane has a proven track record. After being the leader of Kongsberg Digital’s Digital Energy division, Shane was promotedto CEO in 2022.   

Beyond his leadership within Kongsberg, Shane contributes his expertise to the wider industry as a board member of both Ledaflow Technologies and FutureOn. His academic foundation, a PhD in Chemical Engineering, underpins his deep insights into data management, analytics, physical models, and the Industrial Internet of Things.
